what is Subnetting in Networking
The method of dividing a network into two or more networks is called subnetting.OR
Or Subnetwork or subnet is logically subdivision of an IP network.
Why subnetting ?
Subnetting happen due to the shortage of IP addresses.When internet become popular then IP addressing is short and people says it will stop internet but to solve this problem a solution is find that called subneting.Example of subnetting:
150.150.0.0 Network address
150.150.2.14 Host address
255.255.255.0 Subnet mask
150.150.2.0 Subnet address
